Zymon Eparra (ザイモン・エパラ, Zaimon Epara^?) is the head of Tiger Castle Academy in the Silver Castle World Balandias. He is known as the Fearless Slashing Castle (斬城不敵(ざんじょうふてき), Zanjofuteki^?), one of the two leading figures of the Tiger Castle Academy.

Appearance

Zymon is a short-haired demon with a firm body. He wears Balandias' uniform, a ultramarine haori.

History

Zymon was granted the role of "Fearless Slashing Castle" by the King Tiger Maytilen, Balandias' Chief God. Alongside Farris Noin, he is one of the two leading figures of the Tiger Castle Academy.

Synopsis

Silver Water Holy Sea Arc

When Anos asks Farris to return to Dilhade since it must've been suffocating working under Cartinas, Zymon appears and asks if slandering their opponent was the etiquette from their world. Anos replies that he should know who started their feud, but Zymon replies that it was their fault for not giving the way to the Sovereign of the deep world. Zymon eventually gets angry and draws his sword, but Shin blocks it with Altcorasta.

Ottlulu tells them to save it for the Silver Water Hierarchy War, but Zymon doesn't stop until Farris pleads with him. He tells Shin to get a better sword because after sheathing his castle sword, Altcorasta snaps in half due to the previous blow. Farris apologizes to Anos, but he can't go back since Balandias is his home now. Zymon reaffirms his companion's choice and the two leave.

During the Hierarchy War, Shin breaks into Zymon's castle ship and the two fight. Zymon has the advantage because Shin's demon swords cannot cut through his skin, which is further protected by the Balandialtas armor. Zymon eventually uses his Slashing Castle Sword's First Secret to diagonally cut Shin in half, but he reattaches his body with the Regeneration Sword Kehes. Shin then pulls out Mezberetta, a sturdy demon sword that specializes in taking down castles. When both swords use their Secrets, the Slashing Castle Sword is knocked away from Zymon's hand and the Balandialtas armor is destroyed, while Mezberetta's blade is shattered. However, Shin immediately picks up the Slashing Castle Sword and uses its First Secret to behead Zymon, winning the match.

Zymon is later given first aid and has his head reattached, though it's not completely healed.

Abilities

• Immense Magic Power: As a resident of a deep world and one of Balandias' strongest people, Zymon possesses an extraordinary amount of magic power.
• Immense Durability: Due to his nature as a castle demon, Zymon possesses extremely tough skin. Shin's demon swords break upon impact and they barely manage to scratch him. If combined with the spell Balandialtas, Zymon becomes a nigh-impenetrable castle.
• Immense Speed: Zymon is incredibly fast, even beating the likes of Shin. He is fast enough to leave five afterimages, and slash 100 times in a single breath.
• Expert Swordsman: Zymon was stated to be the strongest swordsman in Balandias, as his swordsmanship made him famous as one of the two leading figures in Balandias. However, while skilled, it is noted by Shin that he relies too much on his raw power and naturally-enhanced durability, as he was unable to keep up with Shin after the latter had adapted to fighting in a deep world.

Farris Noin

Farris is a close comrade of Zymon and someone he views as worthy of leading Balandias, going as far as prostrating before him. After learning the story behind Farris' paintings, Zymon was willing to start a rebellion on his behalf and steal them back from Cartinas, their former lord.
