Roncruz Zeybat (ロンクルス・ゼイバット Ronkurusu Zeibatto?) was the butler of the Two Laws Tyrant Noah. After being entrusted with his master's body, Roncruz assumed his identity in order to keep the memory of his lord alive.[1]
Appearance[]
Due to possessing Noah's body, Roncruz takes his appearance: a tall man with long silver hair and achromatic eyes. He wore a cloak that seemed to embody the evening darkness.[2]
Personality[]
History[]
In the Silver Water Holy Sea, bubble worlds naturally leak vital Fire Dew which ends up being taken by Pablohetara. Roncruz's master fought to oppose Pablohetara's corrupt system.[1]
At some point, the Two Laws Tyrant Noah jumped into a situation where he would likely face death in order to save his benefactor. He entrusted his body to Roncruz before departing, telling him not to wait for him and to protect these waters from Pablohetara in his stead. Following his will, Roncruz assumed the identity of the Two Laws Tyrant to protect the Silver Sea from them, all while waiting for his master to return.[1]
Synopsis[]
Silver Water Holy Sea Arc[]
After catching Balzarondo in his domain, Roncruz cuts off his arm and asks Anos if he will leave or fight. Anos chooses to fight, allowing Balzarondo to escape, but notices that Roncruz is holding back and tells him to show him more. Roncruz displays even more power and admits Anos is worthy to see the true power of the Two Laws Tyrant. He steps on Anos' shadow and casts Dagdala, dealing him significant internal damage. Anos endures it and pierces Roncruz's chest with Vebdoz but can't grasp his source.
Roncruz attempts to step on Anos' shadow again, but he dodges it. Anos then uses 100 Jio Graze, but Roncruz counters them with the same amount of Dogda Azbedara, which devours them and even pierces Anos' Magic Eyes of Destruction and Beno Ievun. Anos then unleashes all of his spells on Roncruz, but his shallow magic only amuses the Tyrant. Eventually, Anos uses Egil Grone Angdroa, but Roncruz shows him Rayon, a spell that lets him catch the spell and throw it back at Anos.
However, Anos reveals that he has learned deep spells by watching Roncruz and uses Rayon as well. The two engage in a dodgeball match with the fireball of the destruction. As they keep sending Egil Grone Angdroa back and forward, it multiplies in power until Roncruz is no longer able to send it back due to his health condition. Seeing that Roncruz intends to minimalize the spell's damage with his body, Anos offers to take 2/3 of Egil Grone Angdroa, which has gained enough power to destroy the world.
When Roncruz asks Anos why he didn't leave, he replies that the world and Roncruz would've perished. Since he was losing magic power rapidly and won't even last a few days, Anos tells him to reincarnate and even offers to help him if he didn't have enough magic power. However, Roncruz replies that he won't reincarnate, but continue waiting here for his master. After listening to Roncruz's history, Anos offers to take care of Noah's body and name, while Roncruz's source recovers inside of him.
Unfortunately, it's already too late for Roncruz, regular reincarnation won't work because he had long forgotten his original body. Only fusion reincarnation works, but Anos doesn't mind and extends his hand to Roncruz. He then uses Gyze to give Roncruz enough magic power to cast Radpirika. The spell is successful and Roncruz's source goes dormant as it adapts to the hellish and destructive environment inside of Anos. But before doing so, he is able to tell Anos about Pablohetara and how to join, as the people who attacked his mother were there.
Abilities[]
- Immense Magic Power: Roncruz is able to use the Two Laws Tyrant's vast amount of magic power. However, because a source can't normally move in a body that doesn't belong to them, Roncruz consumes a deathly amount of magic power just to control it.[1] Since all of his magic power is being absorbed by his body, his source gradually weakens and his lifespan shortens.[3]

Relationships[]
Noah[]
Roncruz is deeply loyal to Noah. He deeply regrets not stopping Noah from going to his death, even if it meant risking his own life. He would've even followed him if that didn't work, but he lost his chance. At the very least, Roncruz wanted to protect the Tyrant's name, thinking that so long as the Two Laws Tyrant lived, his master would still be alive. He deceived himself by thinking this, and he waited and protected the name, hoping a miracle would come.
Despite knowing that fighting in Noah's body would severely drain his own lifespan, Roncruz still fought to preserve his body and name. His body was the proof of Roncruz's loyalty toward Noah.
Anos Voldigoad[]
The two bond during the match of dodgeball. Roncruz was also moved by Anos' compassion and how he was willing to listen to his last words. He confesses to Anos that he was a fool for waiting despite being ordered not, but Anos tells him not to give up until he has confirmed his master's death for sure, reigniting Roncruz' motivation to live again.
Roncruz states that Anos would've gotten along with Noah.[1] It's later revealed that Anos is the reincarnation of Noah.
