Parrington Anessa (パリントン・アネッサ, Parinton Anessa^?) was the former prince and Sovereign of the Puppet World Luzendfort.

Appearance

Parrington looks like a young man with bobbed hair and white streaks. He wears a doll school badge on his uniform.

Personality

Parrington is a rather laid-back individual when his craving isn't involved. He is clever as is he persuasive.

History

Parrington was born in the Disaster Abyss World Evezeino, where he lived with his sister Luna and grandfather Dominic. As a kid, he had shown a strong desire to marry Luna, but he was always rejected due to their blood relationship. When Luna started talking about leaving Evezeino to look for the man of her dreams, Parrington made a deal with the Puppet Emperor Bez and obtained his authority of <Red Thread>. With it, he manipulated Dominic into connecting Luna's womb with the Disaster Abyss of Craving, forcing her to become the Abyss Princess of Calamity and stay in Evezeino.

Wanting to change her fate, Luna ran away and sought help from Hayfolia. However, Parrington found her and tried to reason with her to come back. After being attacked by the hunters of Hayfolia, Parrington became more aggressive, asking Luna who will love her for giving birth to a beast that will destroy the Silver Sea. Blinded by his emotions, Parrington was about to be shot from behind, but Luna protected him and got injured instead. This unleashed the power of the Abyss of Craving, but Lebrahard returned with Evansmana and used it to sever her fate. Without the Abyss of Craving keeping her afloat, Luna fell into a bubble world as Parrington screamed in anger.

After losing Luna, Parrington fulfilled his deal with the Puppet Emperor and became Luzendfort's Sovereign. His source was transferred to the Puppet World and he became a magic doll. He would eventually find Luna, who had reincarnated in the Militia World, through the phantom cats that fell with her. Since Luzendfort was part of Pablohetara, which prohibited access to bubble worlds, Parrington used a body made up of stitched-up-corpses to move around. He killed her biological parents and tried to frame the Phantom Knights, but Ceris Voldigoad comes to her rescue and annihilates Parrington's puppet.

Synopsis

Disaster Abyss World Arc

After Anos makes his name known throughout Pablohetara, Parrington finds Luna again, who is now Izabella. He would orchestrate the destruction of the Dream World Fallforal using Egil Grone Angdroa, which Anos had used previously, to frame him and separate him from Izabella. When Anos is unable to save his mom due to being held in questioning, Parrington appears and saves her from an imperfect Venuzdonoa. Because he catches the shadowy sword with his palm, Izabella tries to heal him, but he quickly leaves since their magic power started resonating.

He then attends Anos' hearing as the representative of Luzendfort and helps him get released. The two talk about reincarnation and when they find Izabella, Parrington reveals that she was his sister in a previous life, but she collapses before he could continue. Parrington explains that Izabella is being hurt by her connection to the Abyss of Craving and offers to give her back her memories so she can control it. But secretly, Parrington wanted to overwrite Izabella's memories with Luna's to get his sister back. However, this doesn't go as planned, as Anos constantly looks for alternative solutions instead of waiting as Parrington wishes.

During the Hierarchy War between Militia and Evezeino, Parrington kills Dominic to hide the traces of his manipulation, framing Anos who was also looking for Dominic. However, Anos eventually figures out Parrington's deceit and the two fight. Anos overwhelms him with Gaudgimon, but Parrington turns the tables by using the power of the Lion of Destruction. He attempts to awaken Anos' craving of destruction, but he is shocked to see that Anos is unfazed by it, and gets defeated.

While he is slowly dying, his plan succeeds, and Parrington cries when Izabella calls out his name. However, when he asks her to come home with him, she rejects him again. He was once her precious little brother, but he has gone too far by killing her family and she can no longer forgive him. He attempts to bind his fate to Luna again, but Anos severs his connection to the magic doll, killing him. He then revives Parrington inside a small straw doll so he can confess his crimes.

Abilities

• Immense Magic Power: As a former inhabitant of the Disaster Abyss World Evezeino and current Sovereign of the Puppet World Luzendfort, Parrington possesses a vast amount of magic power. He was able to kill his grandfather Dominic, who was stated to be stronger then all of the currently active Lions of Destruction by Naga (although she doesn't know the full extent of Anos' power). He was able to destroy the Dream World Fallforal, a deep world that was a member of the Upper Six Academies of Pablohetara. His power was enough to allow him to compete with Anos for a significant period of time before ultimately being defeated.
• Red Thread: The Puppet Emperor's authority, which Parrington also has due to being the Sovereign of the Puppet World Luzendfort. It allows him to connect and manipulate fate. They can influence and possess someone, or overwrite their memories and personality.
  • Lion of Destruction Connection: By connecting his fate with the Lion of Destruction in the Abyss of Cravings, Parrington can borrow its power. He can also borrow the power of incarnated lions, such as Kostoria's Magic Eyes of Transcription. He also demonstrated the ability to forcibly awaken the dormant cravings of other Lions of Destruction, but this ability can be negated as was demonstrated by Anos when he used the power of his Voldigoad bloodline to suppress his craving and reassert control of himself.

• Lion's Sewing Needle Bezuez (獅子縫針ベズエズ, Shishi Nuihari Bezuezu^?): Parrington can manifest "Arzenon's Claw" as a large reddish-black needle. He can tie his Red Thread at the end of the needle and use it to sew his opponents. The power of the Lion of Destruction also makes the threads stronger than before, as they couldn't be cut by Gaudgimon anymore.

Luna Arzenon

Despite being siblings, Parrington displayed an unhealthy obsession with marrying Luna and monopolizing her for himself. He saw their blood relationship as an obstacle to their "love" and became Luzendfort's Sovereign to gain a body that wouldn't be related to her.

Ceris Voldigoad

As the man that his sister fell in love with, Parrington harbors a great hatred towards Ceris for "stealing" his sister from him. Parrington tried to kill him via a remote-controlled puppet after Ceris was reincarnated in the Militia World, but he managed to defeat it. Parrington's hatred of him continued to persist and fester, as it reignited after meeting Ceris' reincarnation, Gusta, mocking the fact that Gusta didn't possess Ceris' fearsome power to oppose him again during his fight against Anos. However, he became shocked when Gusta managed to summon Gaudgimon to defend himself and Izabella.
