Mirano welcomes Eldmed and the others when they ask to join the Church of Jiordal in order to learn about their summoning magic. He begins by testing if they can take a pledge jewel from the flames without getting burned, which only one in ten draconids could achieve, but all of them succeed, causing Mirano to thank the Almighty Radiance for this miraculous occurrence.

The group would continue to perform absurd feats, such as summoning dragons larger than Mirano's on their first try or Naya making four pacts simultaneously with the gods Eldmed created using the Order of the Heavenly Father. This causes Mirano to fall on his knees and cry due to all the miracles he has seen today.

He then agrees to arrange a meeting with Pope Golroana for Anos, but before that, Mirano humbly asks the Demon King to lend him an ear. After listening to Mirano's story, Anos promises to capture Ahid, the heretic who keeps crashing festivals to denounce the existence of their gods.

When Anos and Diedrich capture him, Mirano takes them to the Pope. However, Golroana will only listen to one of them, so they must compete for an audience with the Pope. Mirano and the holy knights then spectate as Anos fights Naphta, the Goddess of the Future and Diedrich's Selection God.

Anos Voldigoad[]

Because Anos was the one who took the order of the Heavenly Father Nosgalia and gave it to Eldmed, Mirano came to believe that Anos was Equis himself and apologized for failing to realize it. Even after Anos clarified that he was simply a demon from above, Mirano couldn't show disrespect to someone who stands above the gods.[2]
