— Migelonov to Reno in "The Great War Tree" |
Migelonov (ミゲロノフ Migeronofu?), the Great War Tree (大戦の樹木 Taisen no Jumoku?), was born from the rumors and legends of a spirit that gives humans the knowledge and wisdom to survive the Great War.[1]
Appearance[]
Migelonov has the appearance of a giant tree with a humanoid face at its trunk. The face resembles that of an elderly woman.
Personality[]
Migelonov was a benevolent spirit that tried its best to bring harmony to the world and ensure peace between Humans and Demons, even if it meant disobeying her own lore and dying as a result. Because the war had lasted so long, she became sick of imparting the knowledge to kill others. That's why she was glad to give her life for a peaceful resolution. She stated that her death was inevitable either way, as the humans would eventually forget her after the Great War had ended.
History[]
While Migelonov originally behaved as her legends stated, she disobeyed her own lore by helping a demon, the Demon King of Tyranny, find a way for humans and demons to coexist peacefully. Because this went against her lore of helping humans defeat the demons, she slowly began to fade out of existence.[1]
When Anos Voldigoad traveled to the past to learn more about the Child of God, Migelonov was able to give him and his friends some wisdom before disappearing.
Synopsis[]
Great Spirit Arc[]
During the final battle against the Heavenly Father Nosgalia, Migelonov temporarily resurrects by borrowing the body of a love fairy fran. She tells Reno that she and the other spirits love her and will always be with her. Before fading away one last time, she gives Reno the spirit spell Alha Alfrem, which would play an important part in Nosgalia's defeat.
Abilities[]
- Magical Insight: Migelonov has the ability to peer into a person's essence and find out what aspect of themselves they need to improve to become better in combat. However, there are cases in which she is unable to see anything, possibly because they don't need her wisdom.
Relationships[]
Great Spirit Reno[]
The two were very close, as Reno rushed to her side during her final moments. Migelonov comforted a crying Reno and told her that it wasn't her fault, as her death was inevitable. She also tells Reno that she will have to make a similar choice in the future, whether to protect her own lore or betray it to protect something precious to her.
