Marcus (マルクス, Marukusu^?), the Lonely King (独王, Dokuou^?), was the Sovereign of the Fusion World Bormted.

Appearance

Due to fusing with everything in the world, Marcus can manifest himself as a humanoid made of earth.

History

17,000 years ago, there was a nameless Silver Bubble whose order was to fuse everything into a single whole. Everything from the natural landscape to the living beings gradually became one, including Marcus and the world's Chief God, forming the Fusion World Bormted. When the Third Demon King Heath came to recruit his friend, Marcus turned him away, as he wasn't his friend Marcus anymore. With all of the consciousnesses that were merged, he couldn't be sure of who he was.

He decided to cut ties with Heath and even encouraged him to destroy him if he didn't agree. However, the Third Demon King allowed himself to be kicked out of the world, as he didn't want to destroy his friend and because he was sure Marcus would definitely come back to him. When the Demon King left, a silver-haired child caught Marcus by surprise, as he didn't detect anyone entering the Fusion World.

For some reason, Marcus felt like opening up to the kid and sharing what troubled him. Even though he was now the world, the Chief God, its Sovereign, and its people all at once, he rejected the Fusion World's order, his order. He believed that people couldn't live their own lives because they would inevitably fuse with him, depriving them of their freedom. When the boy heard this, he used a spell on Marcus' shadow and then destroyed the world's order, breaking Bormted in half. The shadow eventually gained a real body and became a fusion demon. When it was over, the boy introduced himself as Noah.

Abilities

• Immense Magic Power: Marcus possesses a vast amount of magic power due to being the Fusion World Bormted itself and all who live in it. The Third Demon King, Heath Tonia, believed him to be indispensable in his campaign to defeat the other Demon Kings and become the Great Demon King.
