History[]
Kostoria was born from Dominic Arzenon's latest attempt at incarnating Arzenon's Lion of Destruction, the strongest Phantom Beast in existence. Like Naga and Bobonga, Kostoria is an imperfect Lion of Destruction. While most of her phantom demon body is intact, Kostoria herself has no eyes because that's the part she inherited from the phantom beast.
To incarnate properly, Kostoria and her "siblings" must tear into the womb of the Princess of Calamity using their "claws" and return to the Disaster Abyss of Craving, where they have to incarnate their missing body parts.[3]
Synopsis[]
Silver Water Holy Sea Arc[]
Not long after the Militia World became visible, Kostoria and Bobonga head there to find the Princess of Calamity and discover Izabella, her current incarnation. When Bobonga is captured after attempting to kill her, Kostoria appears and fires a magic bullet, prompting Anos to shield his mother with Beno Ieven. However, the barrier is suddenly replaced with the magic bullet, which explodes. While Anos manages to protect his mother, Bobonga escapes and rejoins Kostoria. The two get ready to leave, but Kostoria realizes that Anos took her one of her prosthetic eyes. Anos crushes the eye, but she doesn't fall for the provocation and just leaves with Bobonga.
Disaster Abyss World Arc[]
Kostoria meets Anos again after he secured a high rank within Pablohetara. She tells him about the initiation ceremony, where he has to beat the other students in a contest of replicating each other's magic to pass. By the end, only Anos and Kostoria remain, as the others couldn't use Egil Grone Angdroa. However, she loses as well after replicating Venuzdonoa. Despite summoning it perfectly, the sword still stabs her due to its unreasonableness. Rather than answering his questions as they agreed, Kostoria commits suicide by breaking Zecht, but Anos revives her through Agronemut. Seeing how pointless it would be to continue, she tells him about the Princess of Calamity.
When Anos is taken into questioning for Fallforal's destruction, Kostoria uses this chance to attack Izabella using the deep magic she learned during the contest. She defeats Eges Code with a copy of Venuzdonoa, but she stops when Parrington Anessa comes to Izabella's rescue.
During the Silver Water Hierarchy War between the worlds of Militia and Evezeino. Kostoria fights Sasha Necron, who is wielding Venuzdonoa, so she copies it and the two swords clash. By using the lion's eyeball to attack Sasha from behind, Kostoria manages to knock out Venuzdonoa from Sasha's hand and seemingly kill her. However, Sasha is unscathed because she destroyed the logic of being slashed, and then she slashes Kostoria. She also exploits Kostoria's craving of jealousy and taunts her, causing her to get distracted and be swallowed by Naga's magic.
