Godless Continent (無神大陸 Mukami Tairiku?) is a floating continent made from the Stagnation World Zagaro (停滞世界ザガロ Teitai Sekai Zagaro?), which was once ruled by the Fifth Demon King Holsefi, one of the six candidates to succeed the Great Demon King Zinnia Shivaheld.

It is one of the Twelve Deep Worlds controlled by the Great Demon King Zinnia Shivaheld.

History[]

23,000 years ago, the Third Demon King Heath Tonia came to Zagaro and fatally wounded the Frozen Dragon Jaim in battle. As the world's Chief God, Jaim survived, but this left him in a state of perpetual agony, as his wounds stagnated due to Zagaro's order, neither healing nor killing him.[1]

17,000 years ago, the Stagnation world Zagaro was visited by the Two-Laws Usurper Noah, who thought Holsefi was a misfit in need of saving, as he was the only thing moving in a world where everything was stagnant.[2] Though Holsefi himself didn't need saving, he wanted Noah's help to put the Frozen Dragon Jaim to rest. The two managed to bring him outside of Zagaro, where the order of stagnation would have no effect, allowing Noah to kill him as Jaim thanked Holsefi.[1]

With no Chief God left to maintain the world, Holsefi thought of creating a world without gods. While Noah severed the ties between the gods and the world, Holsefi used his immense power to forcibly maintain the Silver Bubble, thus creating the Godless Continent. It became a sanctuary for the people Noah saved, who were abandoned by order and their worlds of origin.[3]

When Anos finally defeated the Third Demon King Heath, Misha and Sasha recreated the Godless Continent so that all its residents could maintain it together with their magic power, taking the burden off of the Fifth Demon King Holsefi.[4]

Characteristics[]

Zagaro was a world where everything, including the flow of time, moved very slowly. Visitors from outside the world were immobilized as soon as they set foot on the ground.[2]

Due to how Noah and Holsefi built it, the Godless Continent doesn't have a Chief God, a Sovereign, gods, or order.[3] And because it is no longer a silver bubble, the interior of the world can be seen directly from the Silver Water Holy Sea without entering it. It has no sky, sun, or moon, only the darkness from the Silver Sea.[5]
