The deformed manga returned for Season 2 of the anime, now titled The Misfit of Demon King Academy Ⅱ: History's Strongest Demon King Reincarnates and Becomes a Deformed Manga with His Descendants (魔王学院の不適合者 Ⅱ ～史上最強の魔王の始祖、転生して子孫たちとデフォルメマンガになる～ Maō Gakuin no Futekigōsha Ⅱ ~Shijō Saikyō no Maō no Shiso, Tensei Shite Shison-tachi to Deforume Manga ni Naru ~?). It returned on July 9, 2023, during the RESTART of the anime after the season ended prematurely due to production issues.
