Faris Noin (ファリス・ノイン Farisu Noin?) was a subordinate of Anos 2,000 years ago and the creator of the Flying Castle Ship Zeridhavenus.
Appearance[]
Faris has shining golden hair done up in an artistic pompadour, and he wears loose-fitting beige clothes.
Personality[]
History[]
Faris lived on the island of Domunfurs, a sanctuary for painters like him due to the Fashima trees that grew there, which yielded ideal materials to create painting supplies. These creators banded together to form Atelier Domunfurs, and built a fortress on the island to protect it from the war and prevent the forest's destruction.[1]
On a fateful encounter, Faris met the Demon King of Tyranny while he was looking for a ship that can fly into the Sun of Destruction — the Zeridhavenus. Though Faris initially objected, he eventually relented and even pledged his loyalty to Anos after he promised Faris the thing he wanted the most, peace.[1]
Faris would later die during the trip to the Sun of Destruction, with his source flowing outside of the world and reincarnating in the Silver Castle World Balandias. Because of the different values there, he roamed around the world, seeking people who similarly appreciated the arts like him. Faris eventually found a village of old builders and taught them what the strange feeling in their hearts was — to create something purely for beauty and not functionality. When his elders passed on, they left five beautiful castles that were created with their passion. Faris then framed them inside paintings so that they will never touch the battlefield.
However, while he was away, the Immovable King Cartinas Irvena seized the paintings and forced Faris into serving Balandias. To protect the wishes of his elders, Faris gave Cartinas his own castle ship Zeridhavenus so that his elders' castles wouldn't be used.
Synopsis[]
Silver Water Holy Sea Arc[]
After going outside the world, Anos finds the missing Faris in the Silver Water Academy Pablohetara and discovers that he had reincarnated in the Silver Castle World Balandias. A lot has changed and Dilhade has become peaceful, so Anos asks him to come back. However, Faris turns him down because Balandias was his home now and he had people waiting for him there.
When Anos asks him if he drew the painting of peace, Faris states that he broke his brush. A painting does not create anything, a painting does not save anything. He abandoned the magic brush for a castle sword, to build a strong and noble castle that will not yield to anything. It was the King Cartinas who discovered his talent when he was smoldering in a cold village.
Abilities[]
- Immense Magic Power: Faris has a great amount of magic power, as he was able to move normally in front of Anos even when his allies fell to their knees due to Anos' enormous magic power.[1] After being reincarnated, his magic power greatly increased due to the fact that he was reincarnated as a deep world inhabitant, to the point where he was recognized as one of the two prominent leading figures of Balandias.
- Master Creation Magic User: Farris is an exceptional user of creation magic, with his talent being greatly renowned across Dilhade. He is the creator of the Flying Castle Ship Zeridhavenus, a ship so strong that it could fly through the Sky of Destruction, the domain of the Goddess of Destruction Abernyu, which destroyed anything that tried to fly through it.[1] Farris was also the only known user of the rare creation magic spell Astrastela, a spell that not even Anos was capable of using.[2]
- Perceptive Magic Eyes: Creationists have excellent magical eyes. To master creation magic, it is essential to see things for what they really are, to look into the abyss of the object so to speak. He was able to see through Anos' disguise, which hid him from the gods.[1]
Equipment[]
- Castle Sword: A type of magic sword that combines a saw and a sword, used in the Silver Castle World Balandias to build castles and fight battles.[3]
Relationships[]
Anos Voldigoad[]
Like most demons of the Mythical Age, Fairs held nothing but unquestionable love and loyalty towards his master, Demon King Anos.
