Everastanzetta, Institute of the Gods (神代の学府エーベラストアンゼッタ Kamishiro no Gakufu?) is a holy castle located in the city of Gaelahesta.
History[]
Approximately two thousand years ago, in the aftermath of the Great War, the Goddess of Creation Militia created the Underground World, which was capable of supporting life. As dragons gave birth to draconids and their society flourished, the Gods decided to hold the first Selection Trial there in order to balance out the scale of order.
After the first Selection Trial, where Arcana and her Selection God Militia won, Arcana tried to destroy Militia due to feeling betrayed that Militia wanted to end the Selection Trial. As Militia was dying, she used her power to separate herself from her divine body and turn it into a divine castle called Everastoanzetta.
The pious draconid believers of the Underground World discovered the castle and, due to its divine origins, started researching it and made it the meeting location for the participants of the Selection Trial.
Description[]
Everastanzetta is described as a gigantic, ancient, and majestic castle overflowing with magical power. Like Delsgade, Everastanzetta is a giant three-dimensional magic circle.
Notable Places[]
Holy Seat Hall[]
Holy Seat Hall
The Holy Seat Hall is a round snow-white room filled with eight holy thrones belonging to the Selected Eight. The seats have a bright white light pouring down on them from the ceiling, which hides their identity even when trying to observe them via Magic Eyes, as the veil is described as a force similar to divine order.[1]
The chosen Selected must sit in the Holy Seat and pledge their participation in the Selection Trial to the Almighty Radiance Equis, at which point a great light will illuminate the Holy Seat. The Selection Gods provide their Selected One with their own Selection Pledge Jewel, as well as engraving their name and title into their respective Holy Seat. Due to the rules of the Selection Trial, the Selected are forbidden from fighting each other in the Holy Seat Hall.[1]
Tablet Room[]
Tablet Room
It is located on the thirteenth floor of Everastanzetta.[1] It is a spacious room filled with a vast array of stone tablets and monuments that explain the creation of the Underground World, the history of the draconids, the major countries (Jiordal, Agatha and Gadeciola), as well as the gods. The tablets are written in ancient runes called prayer runes.[2]
Eternal Runes
However, some tablets are written in eternal runes, which are writings of the gods that serve as messages to other gods, as one would need Divine Eyes to read them due to them being filled with magic. Gods will refuse to divulge their meaning to anyone else, as even a summoned god would refuse to decipher the message.[2]
Monument Inscription[]
It all started here in this castle, Everastanzetta.
It was an endless night of perpetual nothingness...
Far beneath the ground, a castle of god was born,
To shine a gentle light over the night with no beginning.
Above ground, the sun didn’t rise, and destruction never came.
No life was born, and the world came to a stop.
Order or people, which mattered more?
You know the answer.
You’re the only one who knows the answer.
Room of the Bonfire of Judgment[]
Bonfire of Judgment
The room containing the Bonfire of Judgment is on one of the middle floors of Everastanzetta.[3] It has endless rows of pillars with torches on them and silver fire at its center. It is said that by throwing yourself into the Bonfire of Judgment and withstanding one thousand pains, one can gain tremendous power.[4]
