Eife (エイフェ, Eife^?), the Blessed Lady (祝聖天主, Shukusei Tenshu^?), is Chief God of the Holy Sword World Hayfolia.

Appearance

Eife looks like a girl wearing pure white robes. She has two wings on her back that shine with the radiance of a rainbow, and a halo above her head. Her entire body emits a divine light that can only be described as pure.

Personality

Eife is shown to be a benevolent goddess, who cares about the fate her world and its inhabitants.

History

Eife was born after the rise of conformists in the world of Hayfolia, as Eife became the Chief God of the newly christened Holy Sword World. She continued to guide the fate of the world towards a righteous path, and eventually helped bless several other worlds to become Hayfolia's colony worlds.

After the Hayfolia's initial encounter with the Disaster Abyss World Evezeino, Eife joined her inhabitants in helping battle them. When Evezeino and its Lion of Destruction attacked the Water Calculation World Sailaina, Eife joined forces with the Fateful Spirit King Dionatek and the Blacksmith World Bardilua. They needed a powerful weapon to slay the Lion of Destruction, so the most skilled blacksmith of Bardilua— Bellamy Standad, forged a sword that would be inhabited by the Fateful Spirit King Dionatek and consecrated by Eife's divine power, resulting in the creation of Evansmana, the Sword of Three Races. Due to the blessing used in the consecration of Evansmana, the sword became part of Hayfolia's order, being recognized as its symbol. Armed with Evansmana, the Holy King Ordov and his allies managed to repel the attack and save Sailaina, though it already had incurred great losses by then.

During their battles against Evezeino, Ordov noticed that the world of Evezeino was alive and would move to devour Hayfolia. He gathered a fleet of ships and soldiers, to invade Evezeino in order to bless it Eife's divine power in order to stop it. However, their attack was met by the Sovereign and Chief God of Evezeino; the Living Disaster Yzak, as he and his followers overwhelmed the Hayfolian fleet, though Ordov succeeded in evacuating Eife back to Hayfolia.

17.000 years ago, after Ordov's firstborn son Lebrahard was able to draw Evansmana but mysteriously lost it, he was questioned by Ordov and some even advocated that he face consequences for losing the symbol of Hayfolia. But Eife pardoned him as she saw that he was walking down a path of righteousness. When Ordov abdicated, Lebrahard ascended to the throne of the Holy King. However, Lebrahard's subordinates were slaughtered soon after his enthronement, as the culprit came forward, though Lebrahard spared them. Ever since, Eife has noticed that her heart felt uneasy about Lebrahard's justice despite him walking down the Rainbow Road. Originally, the order of the Chief God and their heart shouldn't be contradictory, as it isn't the right way to deny the king the the Chief God chose without grounds, as if Eife continues to deny the Rainbow Road, the order of Hayfolia will eventually be distorted. Therefore, Eife wished to see and consult with Ordov, as if her divine eyes saw that Ordov's justice was wrong, then it would be clear that she was broken. She was convinced that she could resolve the problem of her order if she received Ordov's council. However, due to the fact that Ordov retired and was exploring shallow worlds without any means of communication with Hayfolia, Eife was unable to contact him as she pondered how she could reach him.

Synopsis

Holy Sword World Arc

Eife saves Misha, Sasha, and Misa from Baron Leowolf after they sneak around the Hunting Palace; and finds out that their goals are the same — to find the former Holy King Ordov. After she explains her turmoil, the trio promise their cooperation in finding Ordov. Grateful for their help, Eife gives them her divine blessing to aid them in their journey, as she went to prepare for Evezeino attack.

Before she could depart, Lay and Balzarondo brought back an injured Ordov, who was on the brink of death due to his source being shot. Eife relocated to the Rainbow Lake to begin healing him, but she couldn't heal him enough to save his life. Balzarondo and Lay appeared before her, as Balzarondo tried to convince her to allow him to take Ordov to the Militia World so he could be reincarnated there. However, Eife pointed out that he couldn't manifest a Rainbow Road for his wish because there was hesitation in his heart. While Balzarondo was pondering, he was reassured by Lay, who told him that he wasn't wrong as Lay manifested a Rainbow Road that pointed to Ordov, as that spurred Balzarondo to manifest his own Rainbow Road. Eife then commented on Lay being chosen by Evansmana, as she had originally presumed it being because she was broken but revised her opinion, recognizing that Evansmana had chosen Lay because of his courage, strength and kindness. She gave them her permission to reincarnate Ordov.

As Evezeino moved to devour Hayfolia, Lebrahard attempted to slow down Evezeino's predation so that Eife could bless the world to transform it into one of Hayfolia's Silver Bubbles. After Balzarondo and Lay appeared to try to stop both sides fighting, Lebrahard asked if she could seal Evansmana, with her replying that she could halve its power if the sword was drawn into Hayfolia. During the three-way battle, Eife and Lebrahard slipped from the main battle to go to Evezeino to directly deal with the Living Disaster Yzak, Evezeino's Chief God. Arriving in the midst of his battle with Anos, she was able to take advantage of an opening created by Anos' attack to seal his movements. However, before she could bless him and Evezeino, she was interrupted by the arrival of Balzarondo and Lay. Balzarondo implored her to stop the battle due to his father's wishes, but Eife said they couldn't bet on a unknown possibility since Ordov was no longer here. He attempted to shoot her to get her to stop but his arrows kept missing, as Eife stated that this was due to the hesitation in his heart, as he was torn between following his father's will and his own duty as a hunter. After being reassured by Lay, one of his arrows ended up piercing the Blessed Lady+s abdomen. Leowolf and his subordinates attempted to protect Eife and fight of Anos' subordinates in Zeridhavenus. However, Anos tackled their ship and sent them crashing into the Abyss of Cravings.

After crashing, they were rescued by Anos, with the three discussing the philosophical differences between beasts and hunters. Anos stated that he believed that there was outside influence that was forcing Evezeino to try to eat Hayfolia. The three made their way to the lowest part of the abyss, as Eife and Leowolf were shocked to discover a Rainbow Road. They also discovered an Entanglement God that was amplifying Evezeino's craving and interfering with the Rainbow Road. Eife attempted to destroy the mechanical god by using her holy sword but it immediately reformed and bit into her arm, as it began to absorb her. Leowolf tried to save her but the mechanical god nearly devoured him as well until Anos saved him, as he pushed him aside. However, by that time, Eife had been fully absorbed by the Entanglement God, which was revealed to be controlled by Hermit Elmide. The mechanical god fought against Anos and used Eife's powers against him during their fight. Anos was able to free Eife from the mechanical god by nullifying its powers with his Magic Eyes of Chaotic Destruction, as it is revealed that Eife used her divine power to protect her source so she could revive herself. However, because of the effects of his Eyes of Chaotic Destruction, her order was weakened and Lebrahard was at his limit trying to safeguard Hayfolia, as he would be soon overwhelmed. As Anos continued his fight with Elmide, Eife became shocked when she saw Anos severing the Abyss of Craving from Evezeino itself with the power of his Eyes of Chaotic Destruction and his Two-Laws Sword.

When the three-way battle concluded, Eife visited the Reincarnation World Militia, in order to give a last farewell to Ordov before her reincarnated. Reaching his location, she gave a heartfelt eulogy about his his life and heroic deeds, as she wished him well in his future journey.

Abilities

• Immense Magic Power: As a god, she possesses immense magic power, having a near bottomless magic pool that can only be used up when doing something of extraordinary magnitude. As the Chief God of Hayfolia (a deep world that is a part of he Upper Six Academies of Pablohetara and ranked second among them), she is considered one of the most powerful Chief Gods in the Silver Water Holy Sea. She demonstrated the ability to easily erase Misa's Demera, which was deepened via Drum, melt Misha's ice castle and negate the effects of Sasha's Divine Eyes of Apocalypse and the Sun of Destruction. She was later capable of restraining Yzak with her power. It was shown that her power can negate the effects of Egil Grone Angdroa.
• Conceptual Existence: Gods maintain and embody the order and laws of the world.
• Blessing of Saint Europianes: Eife's order, which grants her power of blessings. She is able to use it to voluntarily welcome new inhabitants from other world to become inhabitants of Hayfolia. This order is an antithesis to the inhabitants of the Disaster Abyss World Evezeino, being very effective against the beings that dwell in it, such as Phantom Demons and Phantom Beasts. She is able to use it to grant a holy blessing to the inhabitants of Hayfolia and even inhabitants of other worlds, granting them the holy blessing power which is effective against Evezeino's inhabitants.
  • Blessing of Saint Evansmana: Eife's unique divine blessing, which consecrated the sword of Evansmana and imbued it with Eife's blessing power, making it the symbol of Hayfolia. Eife's divine eyes that can see the Rainbow Road, and the Sword of Three Races has the power to see the rainbow road of Hayfolia. Hayfolia's Rainbow Road is embodiment of the world's conscience. Hayfolia behaves worthy, and walks the right path in relation to other worlds.
• Healing: Eife showed the ability to heal the injuries of others, as she was capable of healing Lebrahard's source after he tried to commit suicide. She can even restore damaged small worlds, though large scale destruction will require her certain amount of time to restore.

Even though Lebrahard was chosen by the holy sword Evansmana, and Eife can clearly see him walking the Rainbow Path, she feels a strange uneasiness towards him. This led her to question her position as Hayfolia's Chief God.
