Doldread (ドルディレッド Dorudireddo?) is the God of Gospel, as well as the Selection God of Golroana Delo Jiordal.
Appearance[]
Doldread takes the appearance of a long-haired god in a blue coat. It is stated that Doldread's true appearance is that of sound itself.
Synopsis[]
Jiordal, Kingdom of the Divine Dragon Arc[]
Doldread is summoned by Golroana during his battle against Anos Voldigoad and his Selection God, Arcana. He uses Azept to possess Doldread's power, allowing him to fight without leaving his prayers. While he initially has the advantage, Gorloana is eventually overwhelmed by Anos, who uses Gard Aske to disturb Doldread's order, which causes the god to corrode and die.
His order was preserved inside of Golroana's Selection Pledge Jewel, which later devoured by the Supreme Dragon, whose true identity was the reincarnated from of Galvadorion, the God of Gluttony. This was done under the commands of Galvadorion's Selected, Veaflare Wips Gadeciola, who wanted to increase the power of the Supreme Dragon in order to fight against the gods.
Abilities[]
- Immense Magic Power: As a god, he possesses immense magic power, having a near bottomless magic pool that can only be used up when doing something of extraordinary magnitude.
- Conceptual Existence: Gods maintain and embody the order and laws of the world.[1]
- Order of Gospel: As the God of Sound, he possesses the ability to control sound, as he can manipulate it in unorthodox ways, such as reviving the dead or manifesting purifying flames. It is stated that Doldread's sound even exists in a a vacuum and that Doldread himself is immortal as long as this sound is heard. His magical power will double after his sound bounces off the tuning fork columns in Jiordal and resonates with them.[2]
