The Team-Based Battle Exam (班別対抗試験 Hanbetsu Taikō Shiken?) is the 4th chapter of The Misfit of Demon King Academy manga adaptation.
Summary[]
Anos calls out Sasha's short-sightedness due to her remarks about Misha, causing her to get mad and use her Destructive Sight. Despite being rumored to destroy anything within her sight, Anos is unscathed and reveals his own Destructive Sight, which destroys the hostility in her heart. Seeing her powers, Anos offers Sasha to join his team to improve her relationship with Misha, but she declines as she doesn't see Misha as her sister.
However, Sasha later returns to their table and makes a bet with them. If they can beat her in the team battle exam, she will join their team. Otherwise, Anos' team will be disbanded and he will become hers. On the day of the exam, Sasha chooses Misha to be the contract holder instead of Anos, and the two sign Zecht.
After Emilia explains the rules and the spell Gyze, everyone receives their roles, and the match begins. As a "Guardian", Misha creates castles to protect Anos, the "King". But he goes against the traditional role of the "King" and walks up to the enemy castle, before lifting the massive construct with ease and throwing it aside.
