Highblood (皇族, Kōzoku) is the 2nd chapter of The Misfit of Demon King Academy manga adaptation.
Summary[]
Anos defeats Zepes Indu, but his victory causes Leorg Indu to appear and kill his younger brother for embarrassing the pureblooded demon royals, the highbloods. When Anos scoffs at the concept of royalty, an angry Leorg proceeds to surround him alongside the other royals. However, Anos intimidates their sources — where people's magic originates from — causing them to run out of control and explode.
Leorg survives the explosion and prepares to cast the highly dangerous spell Jirasd. But to his surprise, Anos is unaffected because origin magic cannot affect the origin which they borrow power from, and Leorg used the Demon King of Tyranny as its origin, Anos himself.
Anos then gives Leorg an opportunity and revives Zepes as a zombie consumed by hatred towards his killer, Leorg. He did this to see if they could overcome their differences and work together to defeat him. However, their brotherly bonds aren't strong and Zepes kills Leorg, resulting in Anos' victory. Disappointed, Anos revives the two and leaves.
Proceeding to the magic power assessment, Anos reunites with Misha and is impressed by her magic power. When he inputs his magic into the mirror, it breaks and the examiner gives him a 0. Misha on the other hand recognizes that the mirror broke because his magic power was too strong. Moving to the compatibility exam, Anos answers the questions about the Demon King of Tyranny with ease, as the questions were about him.
After finishing, he finds Misha waiting for him at the entrance, so he invites her to his house and teleports the two of them there.
