The Legendary Weapon (神話の剣戟 Shinwa no Kengeki?) is the 15th chapter of The Misfit of Demon King Academy manga adaptation.
Summary[]
Misha creates an ice citadel, while Sasha heads towards Misa. When she arrives, the Anos Fan Union attack Sasha using their castle-golem. Anos tells the Necron sisters to use Jio Graze, and they follow his advice to destroy the golem. He explains that after Misha and Sasha fused with their past selves, their power was increased due to Deeno Jinxess.
Rain then begins falling in the forest, which Anos recognizes as Misa's spirit magic. Suddenly, the fan union attacks Sasha from behind, but she uses her Destructive Sight to put them to sleep. However, Misa manages to catch her by surprise and severely slashes her. Unfortunately, Sasha's Phoenix Robe heals her wounds. Because Misa is using Rei's magic sword, which can cut down spells, the Necron sister decide to fuse their magic into a complex spell and defeat her with Je Greid.
Elsewhere, Anos picks up a branch on the ground and begins fighting Rei. He knocks him back despite using a mere branch, but Rei eventually adapts to his blows and fights back, destroying their landscape as the fight gets heated. Rei loses the match in the end but tells Anos that they might've met before (two thousand years ago), a feeling that Anos also shares. Even though they lost, Anos accepts Rei and Misa as his subordinates due to the promise they had shown. In particular, Misa had used the Great Spirit Rinion's magic.
Anos eventually takes them to his home for dinner, where his parents Isabella and Gusta have yet another misunderstanding, believing their son and Rei to be in a boys-only relationship. While the two boys compete cutting vegetables, Isabella tells the girls about Anos' complicated birth. His heart stopped twice while in her womb, and the doctors informed her that he was dead, but Isabella kept praying for a miracle. His heart eventually started beating again, and he miraculously grew to become the Anos of today, which is why they love him unconditionally and will support him no matter what. In reality, the baby was an empty vessel, and Anos brought him to life when he reincarnated into it.
