Magic Sword Training (大魔剣教練 Dai Maken Kyōren?) is the 14th chapter of The Misfit of Demon King Academy manga adaptation.
Summary[]
Anos' class moves to the Arena for the Magic Sword Training, where they meet the Demon Elders Gaius Anzem and Idor Angelo. Gaius summons magic swords, but no one can pull them out since they drain the users' power. However, Anos does so without even using his hands, telling Sasha that there's only one sword he can't pull out, which is the Hero Kanon's divine sword.
Anos is a bit let down by the lesson, so Gaius decides to spar with him. Anos also encourages Idor to fight, but with Rei as his opponent, so a two-on-two fight begins. Gaius strikes Anos' head with his magic sword, but it shatters upon impact. The Demon King then uses this chance to look through Gaius' memory, but they were also altered. On the other side, Rei slowly chips away Idor's swords until they break. With their magic swords broken, both Demon Elders yield.
The very next day, Anos' team and the Misa-Rei team get ready for the battle exam.
