The Source of a Miracle (奇蹟の行方, Kiseki no Yukue) is the 10th chapter of The Misfit of Demon King Academy manga adaptation.
Summary[]
Sasha's spell fails since Misha sees through Sasha's lie and doesn't reject her. Misha consoles Sasha by telling her that she will stay with her as long as she can, and thanks Anos for giving her the opportunity to make up with her older sister. However, Anos tells her that the real miracle is yet to come and proposes to send both of their sources into the past. If their current half-sources fuse with those from the past, the two will have complete sources.
Anos then uses Gyze to connect with them in order to supply them with magic power and help them cast Rivide. However, Ivis emerges from the ceiling and stabs Anos in the heart, seemingly killing him. The Necron sisters try to stop him, but he simply restraints them because he plans to use their fused body as a vessel for the Founder to reincarnate into.
To everyone's shock, Anos returns alive and states that stabbing him through the heart isn't enough to make him die. He then picks up Ivis with one hand and throws him against the wall, before impaling him with the same sword he used to stab him. As Anos and the sisters resume the casting of Rivide, time suddenly stops, indicating the arrival of the Protector of Time, Eugo La Raviaz.
