Bez (ベズ Bezu?), the Puppet Emperor (傀儡皇 Kugutsu Sumeragi?), is the chief god of the Puppet World Luzendfort.

The Puppet Emperor Bez has the power to bind fates together using the authority of Red Thread. When he finds someone worthy of his world, he binds them with the fate of becoming Luzendfort's Sovereign, transferring their source out of their body into a magic doll vessel known as the "Puppet of Red Thread".[1] One such person was Parrington Arzenon, who accepted the position in exchange for the Puppet Emperor's help in overwriting his grandfather's personality.[2]

Worried that civil war will break out in Luzendfort without a Sovereign unifying the people, Bez ordered Recol to retrieve the Puppet of Red Thread after Parrington's defeat so a new sovereign could be appointed.[3]
