Maou Gakuin Wiki

Did the order of termination look like a tragic duty to you? Did I truly look so misfortunate in your eyes? Could you ever have

imagined that I would take pride in governing an order of this world?

— Andeluc[1]

Andeluc (アンデルク Anderuku?) is the Goddess of Termination (堕胎神 Datai-shin?) and the Goddess of Birth Wenzel's other half.

Appearance[]

Andeluc is a woman wearing bloody-red clothes, and has red hair that is tied up with a string. Her face was pale, with eyes that were cold and empty.

Synopsis[]

Demon Castle Depths Arc[]

Due to Anos Voldigoad's presence, Andeluc switches with Wenzel earlier than anticipated, as he is an existence that should've been terminated at birth. This catches the Necron sisters off guard, as Wenzel wasn't able to warn them in time, so Andeluc incapacitates them with ease. Anos immediately rushes to their aid and finds Andeluc, who summons the Keepers of Termination Veneh Ze Raveil to attack him. Since they aren't a match for him, she summons her divine weapon Egliahonne and fights him herself.

Anos tries to block her divine scissors with Aviasten Ziara and Beno Ievun, but she terminates his spells both times. As a result, he simply covers his fists with magic and punches her, sending Andeluc crashing into a nearby mural. He then continues beating her, faster and faster each time, making her believe as if he had cloned himself. His plan succeeds, and Andeluc directs her magic into the non-existent clone, weakening her magic barriers enough for Anos to severely injure her.

Still alive, Andeluc activates Egliahonne's curse, which summons a two-headed red snake to bite Anos' navel and also her own abdomen, connecting the two. Anos yanks it to punch Andeluc, but his source is heavily wounded instead. She explains that the snake acts like an umbilical cord, which effectively makes her the womb and Anos the child. She then sends magic power into Anos, causing him to revert back to a fetus. Afterward, Andeluc uses Egliahonne to cut the umbilical cord, thinking that Anos would finally be aborted.

However, he reveals that he is unable to control all of his destructive power as a fetus, which starts to form a black devil with claws and fangs around his body. A terrified Andeluc attacks with Egliahonne, but he easily melts her divine weapon. He then pretends to punch her in order to scare her into surrendering. Not wanting to yield to him, Andeluc restores Egliahonne and beheads herself, which amplifies the order of termination to stop Ennessone's birth. Anos tries to resurrect her, but she aborts his spell. Having no choice, Anos decides to destroy her source, but he stops after realizing that Wenzel and Andeluc are one, as they are two sides of the same coin.

This leads him to free the God of Binding Weznera so he can seal Andeluc's source, allowing Wenzel to regain control again. However, this doesn't last long, as the order of termination is still reacting strongly to Anos and Ennessone. Because Andeluc would soon swap back, Anos suggests that Wenzel have a heartfelt conversation with her younger sister, so she asks Andeluc if terminating life is something she wants to do, or if it was something that was imposed on her. When Andeluc reappears, she unexpectedly lashes out at Wenzel due to her self-righteous attitude. She hated the fact that Wenzel looked down upon her order as "bad" or "tragic", unaware that she actually took pride in it.

Anos tells Weznera to bind Andeluc again, but she beheads herself to strengthen the order of termination once more. This summons countless red threads, which fuse with Andeluc to become an enormous, two-headed red snake. She then summons the Keepers of Termination to find Ennessone and tries to follow after them, but Anos pins her down to the ground with his fists. While Anos keeps her there, Eleonore and Zeshia finalize Ennessone's birth, causing Andeluc's order to fade, as Ennessone is no longer a soon-to-be-born life. Anos then uses his Magic Eyes of Mauve to make Andeluc go dormant for the foreseeable future.

Abilities[]

  • Immense Magic Power: As a god, she possesses immense magic power, having a near bottomless magic pool that can only be used up when doing something of extraordinary magnitude.
  • Conceptual Existence: Gods maintain and embody the order and laws of the world.[2]
  • Order of Termination: Andeluc is the Goddess of Termination, the order of this world that aborts unwanted life. She has the power to abort spells before they can fully activate.[3] Her divine weapon, Egliahonne, also has the ability to connect her opponents with her womb, allowing Andeluc to turn them into fetuses so she can abort them.[4] However, she has a limit on the things she can abort, such as the power of other gods[5] or sufficiently strong magic like Ravia Gieg Gaverizd.[1]
    • Red Thread Manipulation: The embodiments of Andeluc's order, which appear on surfaces, giving them the appearance of scars. She uses them to draw magic circles or travel through them as if teleporting.[3] She can also create magical constructs with red thread, such as a Magic Eye or armor that boosts the Keepers of Termination.[6]
