Agatha, Kingdom of the Royal Dragon (王竜の国アガハ Ōryū no Kuni Agaha?) is one of the three major kingdoms that exist in the Underground World. Their national dragon is the Royal Dragon, which is an important part of their religion.
History[]
According to legends, after winning the very first Selection Trial, the Jiordan goddess Genedonov introduced the Pledge Jewels to the people of Jiordal, allowing them to flourish in the harsh conditions of the underground world. But Genedonov soon betrayed Jiordal and took half the pledge jewels to Agatha, where she was originally from. As a result, Jiordal went to war with the newly empowered Agatha, and many lives were lost.[1]
Exhausted from fighting, both nations agreed to a ceasefire and peace prevailed for some time. However, Genedonov eventually betrayed Agatha as well, and even the gods themselves before creating the kingdom of heretics, Gadeciola.[1] Since then, the three nations established themselves as major powers in the underground world, which are in conflict with each other due to religious differences.

A land of knights who are ruled by the Sword Emperor. Although they believe in the Almighty Radiance Equis like Jiordal, Agatha believes that God resides in each person, and they are ideologically opposed due to differences in their beings.
Culture[]
The people of Agatha believe in the ancient teaching of "one life, one sword, one wish." A person's life is their sword, which they use to accomplish one wish. There will be a point in their lives when they must fight as if their very lives depended on it, so they train their bodies and refine their swords in preparation for that day.[2]
As a result, the people of Agatha pray with their swords, believing that god's salvation will only visit those who carve open their own paths. By doing so, they hone their lives, and the Almighty Radiance resides in that life. Because they carry the brilliance of the Almighty Radiance in their heart, they can be considered gods as well, and thus can face anything with their body and soul.[2]

Agarofione[]
The capital of Agatha, which is protected by gigantic swords that enclose the city like a great defensive wall. At its center is the Agarofione Sword Emperor Palace, which is surrounded by rows of shops and residential buildings.[2]
